Our love of German shepherds started in 1988. At that time I was in Law enforcement and had the opportunity to spend time with the K-9 officers. I was allowed to go with them and observe when they were training the department K-9's. To watch those dogs being put thru their paces was truly amazing. Ever since than my love of german shepherds has grown.
My first german shepherd was a son of one of the retired K-9's. I purchased that dog so that my children would have a companion and beyond that a GUARDIAN. Bear truly was a guardian of my children, at that time my sons were 5 and 7. He was always at their side protecting and keeping a watchful eye on them.
The german shepherds that I have been around and have had the privilege to have as part of my family were a combination of Beauty, Intelligence and Companionship. Keeping that in mind, when we breed our dogs, we want our dogs to be intelligent, beautiful and to be the ultimate companion and family member. We breed for large boned dogs with beautiful heads.
